Overview

Flashing Yellow Arrow (FYA) turn signals are widely used to improve signal operations and traffic safety. In 2017, the City conducted an FYA feasibility study for all of the city's signalized intersections. The analysis identified intersections that met specific physical configuration and safety criteria making installing FYA left turn signals feasible.

The City installed FYA at five intersections in 2017 and decided to install FYA at up to eight intersections in 2018. The project is currently complete. The table below shows locations where FYA has been installed with this project:
